‘Kiss Me Kate’ featured in Wedding Bells Magazine!

I am thrilled and honored to announce that one of my best selling cocktail pieces has been featured in Wedding Bells Magazine’s dreamy new Fall/Winter issue in a positively scrumptious editorial shoot, honoring the style of vintage Vogue photographer, Irving Penn.  Stylist Tara Williams paired my plush,  black beauty with a classy, ethereal, dress by Rivini.  The photography and art direction in this editorial is stunning.  Thank you, Wedding Bells, for this lovely feature.

‘Kiss Me Kate’ is made from velour finish fur felt which I have meticulously hand blocked on my ‘Kate Beret’ block – the same block used to make the Duchess of Cambridge’s Epsom Derby hat a year ago. A signature Saucy Milliner embellishment of a freshwater pearl stamen nestling in a felt flower atop a set of sculptural, black quills, adding balance and grace.

This hat is couture sewn by me and is available in several colors.  Contact me on hello@thesaucymilliner to enquire on current lead times – all of my work is custom made per order, and typically takes up to 4 weeks before dispatch. Each of my heirloom works of head art are created by hand in my Kitsilano studio. You are welcome to come by for a cup of tea and consultation, by appointment.

Photography for Wedding Bells by Chris Nicholls.

‘Kiss Me Kate’ is available to custom order for $395.00.   Enquiries on hello@thesaucymilliner.com
