‘The Province’ features The Saucy Milliner as a Fall Fashion Must Have!

Thank you to Crystal Carson and The Province for featuring my new Northern River fedora as one of Fall fashion’s must-haves!

My new Autumn Winter collection is inspired by color palettes from some of my favorite Tom Thompson paintings.  This beaver finish (long nap fur felt) fedora in a deep, gun metal grey, is adorned with real porcupine quills for an extra bit of a Canadiana feel and is called ‘Northern River’, after his 1915 painting of the same name – a piece, which for me, evokes a cold, remote but serene feel. I love the deep, dark  hues that play in the shadows.

‘Northern River’ can be made in a 22″ or 22.5″ head size and is available in several colors including black, navy, red, wine, hunter green and chocolate brown.  Each hat is custom made to order by myself, in my Vancouver atelier.

The rest of the collection will be available soon and any enquiries can be made on hello@thesaucymilliner.com
