The Bonnet Cloche is a wide, and slightly asymmetrical, brimmed cloche that captures an lovely balance of whimsy and couture, and all the things I love about being able to 'play dress-up' in an adult way. I introduced this design last autumn and it was instantly received with much adoration. It's what we, at the Atelier, like to describe as 'wearable drama'. A familiar silhouette becomes just ever-so-slightly 'extra', with this gorgeous, but perfectly proportioned, wider brim. Just enough to create a playful statement, but not so much drama that it is a style you would not be able to easily wear as an everyday, go-to staple, which, is what my clients who embraced The Bonnet Cloche with such gusto, tell me theirs has become!
