An absolutely delightful and stylish design, The Saucy Snail made it's cheeky debut in the autumn of 2020 and has been a favourite among my clients who especially love small, percher style hats, since. This snail shell-inspired design is SO much fun to wear, and is a great way to liven up a dressy outfit, or to wear as casually as you would any other beret!
I employ traditional and trained millinery techniques when creating all of my hats and am devoted to the details - on the inside of this hat, you will find a matching, luxury grosgrain sweatband which has been meticulously hand stitched in, so that the parts of the hat even only you see, are just as pleasing as the parts of the hat everyone else sees.
The Snail Beret is a standard head size of 22.5". If you are a 22" head size, as I am, you will also enjoy how this fits, and I do include some millinery sizing foam to insert behind the interior band, if you wish to snug up the size, but basically, it will just sit a little lower.
