The Sloper Cap

This is a contemporary take on a traditional cap, with a bit of a cloche influence in the mix. This is made on a bespoke hat block, which was made for me, by my hat block maker, in the UK. The Sloper Cap is a truly couture piece, with beautiful, flowing, lines and an asymmetrical silhouette. 

I have one here, ready to ship in leopard print, and I will be making more in August, in long nap felt called 'melusine' in different colours - I will see what inspires me on my next trip to NYC, to go buy some millinery materials and trims! 

I personally make all hats under my label, 'The Saucy Milliner', in my Sussex Drive Atelier, in Ottawa,  though my inspiration usually comes from my travels, as well as many of the highest quality materials that I use.  

The Sloper Cap will fit heads sized 22" - 22.5" and affixes with a discreet elastic that slides under your hair, around the back of your head. The elastic comes in black as standard, but if you let me know your hair colour in the check out, or email me a photo of yourself, I'll try to colour match the elastic for you!
